A One Book - One Community Reading Program
*Dead Jitterbug by Victoria Houston books currently available for checkout
The Marquette County libraries are banding together and inviting people to join in a community reading program. Community reading programs, often called "A One Book, One Community Reading Program", involve residents of an area all reading the same book, then meeting to discuss the book. The goal of Marquette County Reads is to provide residents an opportunity to discuss a common subject to increase a sense of community. The book selected for this years Marquette County Reads program is Dead Jitterbug by Wisconsin resident, Victoria Houston. Marquette County Reads will take place this Summer, with books available for checkout at your local library beginning July 8th. The program will culminate on September 7th with an Author Talk from Victoria Houston at the Westfield Village Hall. For more information contact the Westfiled Library at 608-296-2544 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
